more than you can ask or imagine

Novi Most Centar, Capljina

The Novi Most Centar was opened in Autumn 2007 for young people aged 11-25 years.

Internationally recognised Cambridge University ESOL English courses are offered at the Centar,  accredited by the British Council in BiH as well as Business  English.  (You can sponsor an English Exam!)

The Centre also offers opportunities for young people to make friends, learn computing skills, play card games, table tennis and chill out with the team.  Recorders and guitar classes are also on offer.  Creative arts and crafts sessions are popular.  Photography and video making courses over the summer give young people the opportunity to tell their own story.  Fun nights, occasional trips to local beauty spots, swimming, karaoke and the climbing wall in Mostar, and film nights are popular.

Centar is also a place to have fun and grow in confidence!

Joint activities for young people with Klub Novi Most members in Mostar are organised every so often, giving more opportunity to build relationships across ethnic groups.

In the summer, a range of activities around the town square - from sumo wrestling, bouncy castle, water games - make an impact on the town.  This summer, a ceilidh in the town square is being organised, and the mayor, as well as Novi Most President, Justice Mark Hedley, will be there!

CAPLJINAKing Stefan
Capljina is a small town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, close to the border with Croatia.  Most of the people who live there are Bosnian Croats (about 95%), and it is a place where everybody knows everybody!
