This is what Damir Trbić, our Director, shares in one of his ministry highlights:
For over 15 years, I’ve been serving in ministry, and over the past eight, God has placed a special burden on my heart for young people. The vision He’s given me is simple yet powerful — to see the next generation truly win in life.
But what does winning really mean?
It’s not about having more—a better job, house, or education—but about discovering a better standard for living, one rooted in God’s Word.
When young people turn to God and pursue His will, their lives are transformed. That transformation reaches beyond the individual—it touches families, friendships, and entire communities. That’s why our ministry is devoted to creating spaces where discipleship, evangelism, spiritual growth, and fellowship can flourish. Through youth camps, music workshops, sports, and gatherings, we help guide young people closer to God.
One of this year’s most meaningful moments took place at our youth camp, where Mile and Josipa from Čapljina publicly declared their faith in Jesus through baptism. They first came to the Novi Most Centre eight years ago as teenagers facing heavy challenges no child should bear. Today, their stories are powerful reminders of how Jesus redeems and restores.
Their youth leader, Ivica, shared what this moment meant to him:
“Working with young people in ministry has many highlights, but the greatest joy is seeing their lives changed through faith in Jesus. This year’s camp was special—seeing Josipa and Mile take this step of discipleship after years of walking with them was deeply moving. God’s hand has been on their journey from the start, and it’s a blessing to be part of it.”
Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Each life changed is a testament to God’s grace and faithfulness.
Thanks to leaders like Beki and Ivica, young people across Bosnia and Herzegovina are discovering not just a better standard of living, but a better standard for living—with Christ at the centre.
By giving £6.50 a month you can help young people like Josipa and Mile.
