Meet The Team

Director
Damir Trbić Beki
A Heart Beating For Next Generation
Beki's journey with Novi Most International began during his teenage years at a transformative summer camp. It was there that he discovered his passion for youth work, igniting a desire to invest in the next generation. This pivotal experience led him to dedicate his life to mentoring and empowering young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As the Director of Novi Most, Beki envisions a future where youth are equipped to bridge ethnic divides and foster unity in a post-conflict society. Under his leadership, the organization continues to offer diverse programs—ranging from music lessons and sports to leadership training and creative workshops—that provide safe spaces for young people to grow, connect, and thrive. These initiatives not only nurture individual talents but also promote reconciliation and community building.
Beki's story is not just his own; it is interwoven with the narratives of the youth he mentors and the communities he serves. Recognizing that our personal stories are part of larger societal and cultural narratives can foster empathy and solidarity. In this light, Beki's work contributes to the unfolding story of the Kingdom of God, where each individual's journey enriches the collective tapestry of humanity.
Funding Beki's work is an investment in lasting peace and societal transformation. In a country where youth unemployment is high and many young people consider leaving, Novi Most offers hope and tangible opportunities. By supporting this mission, donors contribute to a movement that empowers youth to become catalysts for change, ensuring a brighter, more unified future for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Director
Angela Sarah Bošnjak
A Heart Willing to Serve
Angela is the youngest and most recent addition to the Novi Most team, but her journey with us began much earlier. For two years, she faithfully served as a volunteer through our scholarship program—an opportunity she embraced with both hands and a willing heart. Watching her grow from a passionate teenage girl into a mature, capable young woman has been one of the most rewarding stories in our ministry.
Angela's growth has been evident on every level—spiritually, creatively, and practically. From the start, she has demonstrated deep commitment, reliability, and a heart that’s ready to serve wherever needed. Whether it’s preparing for a youth event, cleaning up after a long day, or leading worship, she brings excellence and joy into every task.
Her passions for music and photography are more than hobbies—they are tools she uses to connect with and inspire the next generation. We’ve seen her blossom as a songwriter and communicator, using her voice and creativity to bring encouragement, truth, and beauty into the lives of young people. She has a growing gift for teaching and preaching, and she carries both character and spiritual authority in the way she shares God’s Word—recognizing the weight and responsibility of such a calling.
Angela also has strong administrative and research skills. She writes well, supports organizational work with diligence, and has a clear sense of responsibility when serving both church and ministry. Her ability to navigate both the creative and practical sides of ministry makes her a rare and valuable asset.
It’s clear to us that Angela needs to be released into her giftings—because she is not only ready, she is needed. Her character, discipline, and deep love for God and His people make her a worker worthy of investment. Whether serving in a church, ministry project, or Kingdom initiative, Angela carries the heart and capacity to make a lasting impact.
She is not just a future leader—she is already leading with integrity, humility, and grace.
Sarajevo
The European Jerusalem
Sarajevo is where Novi Most began working in 2015, partnering with the local Evangelical Church. The team has built strong relationships in the community, connecting with young people through a range of activities and programmes.
Drawing on these connections, Novi Most Sarajevo has developed music teaching, social activities, and recreational programmes that form the core of their work. These activities provide a welcoming and safe space for young people to learn, develop skills, build friendships, and explore their interests, while also fostering connections with the local church and broader community.
